39 weeks.

Dear baby,

This week's photos are extra special to me, because we took these on our date to celebrate 15 years together! That's half of my lifetime that I've been with your dad. We are crazy, that's for sure, but we are so grateful for where our journey together has taken us, especially now, as we are awaiting your arrival any day. Come out soon baby, we are ready to meet you and love you.

As we are nearing the end of this pregnancy, I want to end my series of letters by telling you that I love you so much already and what I hope for you in this life you are about to embark on. My greatest hope for you is that you will be who you want to be, be mostly happy and fulfilled, be willing to live outside of your comfort zone, that you go on adventures and experience this beautiful world, and that you give back in some way. Those are no easy tasks and I'm sure there is much more in a recipe to a wonderful life, but these are what come to mind for me.

I can't wait to get to know you and see the journey of your life unfold. Just remember, that no matter what that looks like for you, one thing you can count on for sure is that I will always be here to love you, and I hope you can remember and rely on that in your happiest times and your darkest moments. That's what I'm here for, now and forever, I can promise you that.

Love,
Mama
