I think it bodes well for 2013 that we rang in the new year on a road trip, in Portland, with some of our oldest and dearest friends. It was another moment that happens all too often where we sighed and wished all our friends lived in San Diego. It was so good to spend time with these wonderful people and their amazing son and I wish we could do it more often.

Hey Brooke! It's been so long! Your photos from Portland are beautiful. I love all of the green. The north west is my favorite. I hope you find yourself healthy & well. Looking forward to reading more of your travel adventures.
