Hugging trees in Redwood National Park.

We drove into Redwood National Park as the sun rose, having awoken early to be with the trees. The air was crisp and the ground was muddy so we put on our warmest jackets and our tennis shoes to go explore. I was especially fond of those redwoods that were hollowed out but still alive, standing strong and tall, offering a different perspective on the forest and life as we stood enveloped the bark. Trees are my favorite.
