Our weekend looked something like this.
Enjoying the rain and the sun. A backyard holiday bonfire with friends, homemade chili, pie, and special beers. Finally getting a start on some Christmas shopping (interestingly enough, our Christmas shopping involved beer tasting). Keeping warm and cozy inside with our dog. Sorting through and listening to Christmas records from Matt's childhood.
Nothing too out of the ordinary, but I found myself more aware of taking time to enjoy the ordinary as our world seems to be filled with too many reminders that life is precious and no moment should be taken for granted.
