You know it's a good holiday when laughter abounds everywhere you go. From my mother-in-law's continual laughter as we opened presents to my family's impromptu talent show that made me laugh so hard I cried (let's just say there aren't too many talented vocalists in my family), it was a Christmas full of smiles... and other holiday joys like spending quality time with friends and family, eating good food, and generous giving. Feeling grateful for this crazy family of mine.

Last but not least, these special girls who I became best friends with in the third grade. It's kind of become a yearly tradition to meet up the morning of the 26th, but oh how I wish we could see each other more regularly. Have I ever mentioned that I wish all of my friends lived within a ten mile radius of my house instead of scattered throughout the country? It is true.
