My favorite San Diego event of the year.

Every year, my parents come down for my birthday weekend, which also happens to be when our favorite San Diego event takes place, the Tour de Fat. It begins with a bike parade through my neighborhood and continues with crazy shenanigans and beer throughout the day. It's the weirdest local event I know of, which is probably why I love it so.

I think it's our fourth year going, and this year Devotchka played, which made it extra exciting, even though the sound quality was beyond poor. Next year, I believe some costumes are in order so we fit in a bit more.
