Windansea Beach. It offers beauty, emerald water, soft sand, a rocky coastline, and one of the most fun spots to swim with the way that the waves break on the shore.
Even though we were gone for six weeks this summer, I think I've been to the beach just as much as past years, and I definitely have swum in the ocean more this summer than any since I was a teenager. It has just been sohot lovely outside (and the weather report confirms that it will continue to be). Plus, the water is nice, so the normally freezing Pacific Ocean is quite enjoyable these days.
Go swim in the ocean. You won't regret it. There is something about a wave crashing over you that seems to assuage all worries, fears, anxieties...
I hope to find myself (quite possibly, literally and figuratively) again at the beach soon. Perhaps, this weekend.
