The in-laws visit San Diego.

A couple weeks ago, the in-laws came into town for a quick visit. Although it was probably the two coldest days we have had all winter, we still took them to our favorite spot to view the city.

I am so lucky to have such great in-laws. They came into town on a Monday and left on a Tuesday, which were Cyndi's first two days off, after her last day of working for eighteen years in children's ministry.

More than any other season of life, I feel so proud to call her my mother-in-law. The grace with which she navigates through life's trials has never been more apparent. The many lives she has touched has never been more obvious and celebrated. She has and always will be a role model to me.
