Even when you have bed head, no make up on, and you are in the midst of a long day in the car with a three year old and a one year old, there is still magic if you seek it out. Traveling with kids is crazy and tough and is definitely more challenging than just staying home. Conversely, it is also more inspiring and soul refreshing and life giving than staying home. Sometimes the magic is elusive, and sometimes it is labeled as "magic" and all you have to do is follow a short detour from the main highway to find it. Such was the case on this day, as we took a bypass to find the Seven Magic Mountains. I am a big fan of public art in general, and these were quite impressive and beautiful.
