On taking photos.

I love taking photos because it helps me take a moment to stop and appreciate something simple that catches my eye and brings a smile to my face... and then when I revisit the photo later, it makes me smile all over again.

I guess this is why I will continue to keep my camera nearby, even when I feel silly or awkward, because I truly do love seeking out beauty and joy through the lens of a camera. This weekend, I took a break from capturing life with a camera. I didn't take one photo all weekend, and I missed it, which is a good reason to pick it back up again.
