Brotherly love in Nepal.

My brother is one of my favorite people in the whole entire world, and Nepal is one of my favorite places in the whole entire world. So it was quite a treat when I received these photos in my email inbox this week from our dear friend in Nepal.

During the summer of 2007, Matt and I traveled to Nepal and we met up with an amazing family. Udaya is the father and he has about twenty children (two are biological and he has adopted the rest). Clearly, Udaya and his wife are selfless, loving people. My brother is currently staying with this family, so Udaya emailed me these pictures.  I was searching for a little extra inspiration this week and these pictures and thinking about the stories behind them brought me joy:
My brother Travis doing a puzzle with some of the children.
Udaya and Travis eating a typical Nepali dinner.
Here are some pictures of the children that we took back in 2007:
The joy in their eyes inspires me, this selfless couple who has adopted so many children inspires me, and my adventurous and courageous brother inspires me.
