A Funny Photo

If you didn't know, I have a turtle named Franklin. Often, I let him loose in our backyard to roam around on the grass. I also have a little property-mate named Matty, who happens to have a soccer goal. Sometimes he leaves his soccer goal out on the grass. So, can you tell me why this picture is funny?

I bet you never knew a turtle could be so entertaining that one just feels compelled to run in the house for the camera to take pictures of it.

My thought at this point in life is that dogs are high maintenance, require one to be mostly immobile, and can be expensive. Turtles on the other hand are easy, allow one to travel, and are pretty cheap. Plus, dogs only live 12-15 years, while Franklin is apparently supposed to live for 100 years. I highly recommend a turtle as the perfect pet.
