An Appropriate Apology

I posted a lot about voting no on Prop. 8 on my blog. Obviously it is something I am very passionate about: embracing the marginalized, giving them equal rights, and showing them love. I do believe in the Bible, and believe that the greater themes that run through it are love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Some people agreed with things I wrote, while others disagreed, but I think that good dialogue came from it, and more dialogue is needed on this issue. For the gay people that I know and love, I voted no on Prop. 8, but it passed. Here is an apology to those whose rights were denied, not created by me, but something that I like. The wording is a bit strong, but I think an apology is appropriate, considering many people were hurt by the actions of the church.

Read more about it here.
